MyDigitalCity.io – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

MyDigitalCity.io (“the Platform”) is a digital civic environment enabling structured participation, verified membership, and secure voting through a hybrid system combining digital infrastructure and real-world verification.

The Platform includes:

  • Digital City framework

  • Digital Citizen Membership

  • DC Champions system

  • N-A Perk System

  • N-A Operating System (voting engine)

The purpose of the Platform is to provide secure, privacy-focused civic participation at a minimal cost.

2. Membership

  • Digital Citizen Membership is available at $11.11 per year

  • Membership grants access to participation, submissions, and platform features

  • Membership alone does not guarantee verified voting rights

3. Participation Fees

  • Entry submissions (including DC Champions and related systems): $9.99 per entry

  • Fees support infrastructure, system integrity, and development

4. Verified Voting

  • Verified voting requires in-person identity verification

  • Each verified individual is granted one voting credential

  • Voting occurs through pseudonymous identifiers

This ensures:

  • One person = one verified vote

  • No direct linkage between identity and ballot data

5. System Architecture

The Platform operates using a node-based structure:

  • Identity Layer: stores verified identity data (restricted)

  • Voting Layer: stores pseudonymous voting activity

  • Operational Layer (OS): manages system separation and processes

This architecture is designed to protect identity while maintaining system integrity.

6. Privacy Commitment

  • The Platform does not sell, rent, or commercially distribute personal data

  • Identity and participation data are stored separately

  • Identities are never linked to votes in standard operations

7. Data Disclosure

The Platform does not voluntarily share user data.
Information will only be disclosed if required by applicable law or to protect system integrity and security.

8. Non-Intrusive Advertising

The Platform uses a non-intrusive advertising model:

  • No invasive tracking-based ads

  • No sale of behavioral data

  • Ads are minimal and designed not to disrupt user experience

9. Duplicate Accounts & Abuse

The Platform enforces strict participation rules:

  • One person = one verified identity

  • Duplicate or fraudulent accounts are prohibited

  • Systems monitor for anomalies and suspicious activity

Violations may result in:

  • Account suspension

  • Vote invalidation

  • Removal from the Platform

10. User Data Control

Users may request deletion of personal data at any time.
Data will be removed from active systems, subject to minimal retention for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

11. Analog Participation

Users may opt out of digital participation and use analog (offline) voting methods where available.

12. Decentralization & Development

The Platform is in a “Year Zero” development phase:

  • Systems are evolving

  • Certain components may remain managed for security

  • The long-term goal is increased decentralization

13. Platform Independence

MyDigitalCity.io operates as an independent digital system and is not affiliated with any government entity.
The Platform complies with applicable laws where required.

14. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is.”
While security and privacy are prioritized, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, users agree to these Terms & Conditions and ongoing updates.
